Independence
VLT Markets operates with full editorial independence. No advertiser, sponsor, partner, or affiliate has any influence over which topics we cover, how we frame them, or what conclusions we reach.
We are commercially affiliated with Volity. That relationship is disclosed transparently on a dedicated disclosure page and does not affect our editorial output. Volity is never given advance sight of articles, nor does it have any right of review or veto over content.
Research standards
Our research process follows a consistent methodology:
- Primary sources first: Regulatory filings, exchange data, academic papers, whitepapers, and official announcements take precedence over secondary reporting
- Claims are cited: Statistics, figures, and factual claims are linked to their source
- Expertise is applied: Complex topics are written by researchers with domain knowledge in the relevant area
- Balance is maintained: We present the evidence as it is, including uncertainty and disagreement where it exists
What we do not publish
- Sponsored or paid-for editorial content
- Press releases published as articles
- Price predictions or investment advice
- Affiliate-driven “best of” lists designed to generate commission
- Content generated solely by AI without human research, review, and editing
Corrections policy
When an error is identified, whether by a reader, a source, or our own team, we correct it promptly. Minor corrections (typos, formatting) are made silently. Substantive corrections to factual claims are noted at the top or bottom of the affected article with a brief explanation of what changed and when.

Disclosures
Where a writer has a personal interest in a topic covered, including holding an asset being discussed, this is disclosed within the article. Our commercial relationship with Volity is disclosed site-wide on our Volity disclosure page.
Updates and freshness
Financial markets and regulations change rapidly. We review and update high-traffic articles when material information changes. Substantial updates are dated accordingly. Where an article has not been reviewed recently, readers should verify time-sensitive information against current sources.
